If something goes wrong, we want to fix it fast and fairly. This page explains what to do and how disagreements are handled.
Step 1: Contact us first
Email Beatriz@beahivecollective.com with your name, order number or membership type, what happened, and what you'd like us to do. We'll reply within 2 business days and try to resolve it within 30 days. Most problems can be fixed with a quick conversation, a credit or a refund.
Billing errors and chargebacks
- If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us first — we'll fix real billing errors right away.
- Please don't file a chargeback with your bank before contacting us. If you file a chargeback for a charge that matches our posted terms (for example, a membership month you didn't cancel in time, or a Founding Membership payment), we'll share your purchase records, signed agreements and booking history with the payment processor.
- Studio access and memberships may be paused while a chargeback is open. Accounts with chargebacks for valid charges may be closed, and any amount still owed remains due.
Membership or studio disagreements
Questions about bookings, studio rules, equipment, or another member's behavior should go to Beatriz. If a member is suspended or removed, we'll explain why by email. Decisions about studio access are made by BeaHive to keep the space safe and welcoming.
Formal disputes
If we can't resolve a dispute informally within 30 days:
- Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court in San Diego County, if it qualifies.
- Otherwise, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in San Diego County, California, under California law.
- Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent allowed by law.
Limits
Our liability is limited as stated in our Membership & Purchase Terms and Terms of Use. Injury-related claims are covered by the Liability Waiver each participant signs.
