Free Open Studio — Saturday, November 7 · 12–4pm · FREE
Come explore the studio space, try our guided tour of our industrial machines, shop deadstock fabric and meet the community. No sign-up needed, just stop by.
Kids' Sewing Class (ages 8–12) — Sundays · 10–11:30am · Nov 8, 15, 22 and Dec 6
90 minutes of fun learning for our beginner-friendly sewing patrons. $45 per class or $160 for a 4-class pass. Muslin, paper and tools included. Class limited to a maximum of 6 young creators. No class Nov 29 (in honor of those who celebrate Thanksgiving). A parent or guardian is required to register and sign the waiver on behalf of all young creators.
Studio Orientation — Saturday, November 14 · 12–1:30pm · $65
Required for all creators before using the studio space. Learn how to safely use our industrial machines, how to book equipment, and how the studio works for the benefit of all. Max 9 people. 1:1 orientation also available by appointment. Your $65 counts toward a Standard or Professional membership. Free for Founding Members.
Holiday Ornament Hand-Sewing Workshop — Wednesday, November 18 · 6–8pm · $45
Spend a cozy weeknight hand-sewing one-of-a-kind holiday ornaments from our deadstock remnants. Keep them for your tree or wrap them up as gifts. Beginners welcome, no machines and no orientation needed. All materials included. Max 9 people. For adults and teens.
First Industrial Stitches — Saturday, November 21 · 12–3pm · $95
New to industrial machines? Don’t worry, we got you. This beginner workshop will get you more comfortable sewing on industrial equipment in no time. Max 9 people.

Out in the community
Día de los Muertos in Barrio Logan — Sunday, November 1 · 12–8pm
Join the community in celebrating Día de los Muertos. Visit the BeaHive booth where we will be crafting fabric marigolds our visitors can take to add to their own altars (a complimentary offering for all who visit the booth). We invite you to bring items to add to our community ofrenda to honor the sewers who came before us. All guests will have the opportunity to shop fabric bundles and learn more about our holiday gift cards.

The fine print
Class bookings are covered by our Membership & Purchase Terms and Returns & Refunds policy, including cancellations and minimum sign-ups. All participants must sign our Liability Waiver. Dates and times of classes are subject to change. If a class time needs to be changed, all signed-up creators will receive an email with the choice of a refund or rescheduling to another date.
